When I'm not blogging, I'm browsing. Here are sites and pages that I bookmarked on September 10th:

  • NOAA Announces $131.9 Million Recovery Act Contract to Complete Construction of the Pacific Regional Center: NOAA today announced a $131.9 million American Recovery and Reinvestment Act contract to Walsh Construction Company of Chicago to construct the main facility at NOAA’s new Pacific Regional Center on Ford Island in Honolulu.

  • Governor Lingle releases $62.8 million for CIP projects and new IT center: Governor Linda Lingle has released $62,792,000 to the University of Hawai‘i (UH) to finance capital improvements to campuses statewide, as well as to construct the university’s first information technology center.

  • CODA Automotive to Launch the All-Electric CODA Sedan in Hawaii in 2011: CODA Automotive, a privately held American company that designs, manufactures and sells all-electric vehicles and battery systems for transportation and utility related applications, today announced its intent to distribute the CODA Sedan to consumer and fleet customers in Hawaii in the third quarter of 2011.

  • 19th Annual Highway Report: Motorists in California and Hawaii have to look out for the most potholes on urban Interstates. In those two states, 25 percent of urban interstate pavement is in poor condition.
