When we last checked in with Grim Smiley (formerly known as "The Crud"), the band was getting settled in Seattle and readying the release of their first EP under their new name. Less than a year later, the island-grown, Seattle powered grunge-pop trio is now set to release "Age of Delirium" on Thursday. The four-song CD features "two rocking numbers, one lighter, poppy number and a ballad — complete with a cello!"

Grim Smiley is going to print 1,000 CDs, which you can preorder online for $5 (shipping included) or get for free at any of the bands upcoming live shows. But the band will premiere the tracks online on its MySpace Music page and Facebook Music page on Sept. 18.

"We put our hearts and souls into this, so it would mean a lot to us if you checked it out and told us what you think," writes the band.
